1940 FORD DELUXE COUPE "STREET ROD"

We just acquired this beautiful 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe from an "Old Skool" car guy who decided it was time to sell off his collection to downsize his life. This car was his pride and joy and his "GO-TO" car for taking to local car shows and cruise nights and with one look you can see why. It is absolutely gorgeous and very well done!! CHECK IT OUT!!!!!
The body is all original except for the fiberglass running boards. It is super straight and solid as a rock with perfect gaps and fitment and the frame had been stripped clean, smoothed and painted. The "Texas Rose" base/clear paint is slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine and it has some very tastefully done custom painted graphics too! The custom interior is also very nice and tastefully done. It has some really nice features including power bucket seats, power windows, overhead console with stereo, "VDO" gauges, tilt steering column, custom door panels and carpeting and a finished-off trunk too. It is all very-very nice! Power comes from a Chevy 350 c.i. center bolt engine that sounds great and runs smooth and strong. It is backed up by a crisp shifting TH-350 automatic transmission and a 9" Ford rear with a 3:00 gear set. We were told that everything was rebuilt during the cars initial build but all we know for sure is that she’s got good power strong enough to bark the tires when shifting 1st to 2nd gear.
Other features include rack-n-pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, 4 wheel "WILWOOD" disc brakes with cross drilled and vented rotors, "VINTAGE" air conditioning, custom dual exhaust, 15" polished "WELD" wheels with radial tires and so much more!
This car is truly very nice and in our minds is actually a "WORK OF ART", It was without a doubt professionally built and finished. She has been driven 33,000 miles since done so it is a proven dependable driver and everything works as it should! It has won multiple car shows and awards and always gets "THUMBS-UP" and lots of attention everywhere she goes. DON’T MISS IT!! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!
