Vehicle Description

1956 CHEVY BEL AIR 210 DELRAY 2 DOOR CLUB COUPE "RESTOMOD"

We just got in a very nice and very cool 1956 Chevy Bel Air 210. This particular model according to its trim tag is the "1011A" Delray Club Coupe. That model option was basically an interior upgrade (color keyed) from the base 210 model, but you could also get the higher horsepower engine (265 powerpack) if so desired. Kinda cool stuff to know! Anyway, this car was restored some time ago and is without a doubt, built to drive and by the looks of things it was pampered and loved because it is super clean, even better, it runs and drives incredibly well. CHECK IT OUT!!

We were told by the previous owner that he bought it out of Kentucky a few years ago from the builder/restorer who told him that he built the car to be a dependable, turn-key ride but it also had to be safe and comfortable for the long cruises he planned on doing. Well, by the looks of things, HE NAILED IT!! To start off with the body is rock solid, very straight and very clean including the floors trunk and frame. It was painted two-tone "Tropical Turquoise and Pearl White" which is close to its original paint code "749" We just compounded, buffed and polished it to a brilliant show car shine! It also has very nice chrome, trim and like new weather stripping too.

The bench seat interior is also two-tone Turquoise and White to match the paint including the seats, door panels, carpets and headliner and all is in "like new" condition.
It is VERY-VERY NICE!!

Power comes from a smooth running, good sounding 350 c.i. Small Block engine that we were told was rebuilt during the restoration process. After a close-up inspection (we pulled the valve covers) it appears to be true. It is very clean!! It does have an aluminum Edelbrock intake and 4 bbl. carb, HEI ignition and ceramic coated headers. It fires right up and has a smooth idle with quick throttle response and runs very strong. It is backed up by a good shifting 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission and the original rear.

Other features include, Cold "Vintage" Air Conditioning, "605" Power steering, Power Disc Brakes (front only) Chrome Tilt Steering Column, Retro-Sound Stereo, Tubular Upper & Lower Control Arms, Staggard 17"& 18" Wheels with High-Performance Low-Profile Tires, Flowmaster Dual Exhaust and lots-lots more!

This is a very nice 1956 Chevy Bel Air 210 Delray 2 Door Club Coupe "Resto-Mod" that was very well built and restored. It is a proven driver that we just fully serviced and detailed and is ready for this upcoming car show/cruise season.   DON’T MISS IT!!
