1965 PONTIAC GTO POST COUPE "RESTO-MOD"

Fresh out of our restoration shop is this beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO "RESTO-MOD"! This car is really cool and very well done and turned-out way better than expected! Purchased from a retired car-guy who was in the middle of building his dream car but unfortunately became ill and could not physically complete the project. Mechanically he did a hell of a nice job and spent Big Buck$ in all the right places and got pretty far too but that’s where we took over. The car needed to be wired and plumbed to get running as well as completely going over the brakes and steering to get properly stopping and steering. She was also in need of a little light body work and a new coat of paint and a few other miscellaneous items too! Do yourself a favor and... CHECK IT OUT!!

The body is straight, solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame and the new 2-stage base/clear Sherwin Williams Diamond Black paint is super slick and smooth with a deep luster and show-car shine! It has like new chrome, trim, weatherstripping and most glass too! The black bucket seat interior is all new including the seats, carpets, headliner and door panels and the dash and instrument cluster were replaced new too!

Power comes from a newly rebuilt 468 c.i. Big Block Chevy engine that has aluminum heads and all the best internals money can buy. (Receipt is available) It is topped off with an Edelbrock Endura-shine 2x4bbl. carb set up that looks super cool and functions great!  We were told the engine should put out well over 500 h.p. but all we know for sure is that she runs super strong and sounds absolutely incredible! All of this is backed up by a new TKO-600 5speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch assembly and blow-proof bellhousing that is connected to a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears.

all new "CPP" 4 wheel power disc brakes, new "Global West" front and rear suspension with adjustable coil-over shocks at all 4 corners, new ceramic coated headers with new FlowMaster dual exhaust, new MSD ignition, new Retro-sound stereo, new 17" US MAG Chrome Rambler wheels with new high performance low-profile tires and so much more! We have a stack of receipts to back all this up too! As mentioned, this car turned out way better than expected! She runs like a scalded dog and drives like it’s on rails and has show quality looks that we are all searching for. This car is the real deal!!
