1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD "SURFIN BIRD"

"BA-BA-BA-BA-BIRD IS THE WORD" This 1967 Pontiac Firebird was built as a tribute to "SS/E" (SUPER STOCK ELIMINATOR) and a"DAY-2" streetcar/racecar! This is a really cool, old school nostalgia build, with a ton of money being spent on its restoration. We have a stack of receipts and a dyno-sheet available that shows/proves exactly what was done. CHECK IT OUT!!

This Firebird was originally a 326 H.O. 4-Speed car (P.H.S. docs available} bought out of Southern California. It appears to have an all-original body that is rock solid and super clean including the floors, trunk and frame. It was painted as a patina rat-rod in "SIGNET GOLD" and lettered and marked up as a nostalgia SS/E racecar! It is very-very cool!! It does have like new chrome-trim-weather stripping and most of the glass too!

The black bucket seat interior is also all new including the seats, carpets, deluxe door panels, dash and headliner. It also has some old school touches like a Sun Super Tach and SW gauges as well as an old school really cool 3 spoke steering wheel. It is all very-very nice!!

Power comes from a professionally built (RACECRAFTERS OF LANCASTER) pump gas 428 c.i. engine that has been bored and stroked to 467 c.i. and dyno’d at 518 h.p. with 578 ft lbs. of Torq. Only the best parts went into its build to make it dependable and bullet-proof! We do have a build-sheet to show exactly what was done! All we know for sure is that this engine runs and sounds absolutely AWESOME! All this power is backed up by a new "Kessler" 5-speed transmission with Hurst shifter with line-lock and a 9" Ford posi-traction rear built using all "MOSER" internals.

Other features include all new steering & suspension braking and fuel systems, a new "Detroit Speed" power steering gear box, power front disc brakes, new "American Auto Wire" wire-harness, new big tube ceramic coated "Dougs" headers, new "Flow Master" dual exhaust, new "MSD" ignition system, big aluminum radiator, 15" Crager Eliminator 500 wheels with "Hoosier"rear street slicks and M/T front radial tires, a blue-tooth retro-sound stereo and so much more!! This build list is endless, and the cost was tremendous!

This truly is one super cool car that runs super strong and drives super tight! DON’T MISS IT !!
