We purchased this car last summer as an unfinished project from a retired gentleman who is a true "car-guy" He was forced to give up on his dream build do to unforeseen medical circumstances. He had already spent thousands of dollars and invested hundreds of man hours in all the right places however it needed a whole lot more of both to get running and driving not to mention it needed all over body and paint. But... this is a 1970 Chevelle with lots of potential so we decided to jump in and give it the love it deserves. So... after a ton of bucks and hard work she is turning out better than we could have ever imagined! CHECK IT OUT!! The body was overall in decent condition especially the floors, trunk and frame however both 1/4’s and both fenders were full of bondo so instead of repairing them we decided it was best to replace them. The doors, cowl hood, roof and deck lid were all solid and in very good original condition. Everything was professionally installed, fitted and finished and block sanded multiple times and sealed. It was then professionally painted in 2 stage base/clear "Tuxedo Black" wet-sanded, compounded, buffed and polished to a mirror like finish and show car shine. We also ceramic coated the paint to protect the shine too. It also has all new chrome, trim and weather stripping. This car is absolutely gorgeous!! The black bucket seat with factory console interior is all new as well including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash pad. We also replaced the instrument panel with a new "Dakota Digital" "VHX" gauge cluster too. Some other very nice interior features include tilt steering column, power driver’s seat, power windows and a blue-tooth stereo system. It is all very-very nice!! This beauty is powered by a rebuilt 454c.i. big block engine that is topped off with a F.I. TECH "Ultimate" fuel injection system. It sounds awesome, runs super strong and has super quick throttle response. All this is backed up by a bullet-proof "M22 ROCK CRUSHER" 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears all of which has been professionally rebuilt as well. Other features include cold "Vintage" Air Conditioning with a "Billet Specialties" Front-Runner Serpentine System, Power Steering, "CPP’s Big Brake" 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes, "CPP’s’ Tubular Control Arms with Adjustable Coil Over Shocks, "CPP’s" Rear Trac Control Arms and Sway Bars, it also has "Dougs" Ceramic Coated Big Tube Headers with Custom 3 inch "Flow-Master" Dual Exhaust and a whole lot more. We have not picked out the wheels just yet, but they will be staggard 17" front and 18" rear. This car is really something special but that being said, It’s not going to be cheap however I can honestly say it is one of our top builds to date!
