1964 CHEVROLET CORVETTE "2-TOP" ROADSTER

 This stunning 1964 Chevrolet Corvette "2-TOP" Roadster was purchased from the family of a longtime owner who told us that their dad the owner, loved and pampered the car always storing it in his climate-controlled garage. They said he was always tinkering with it and took it to a lot of local car shows and cruise-ins and that after his passing they continued to maintain the car but never really used it and hated to see it just sit so they came to the conclusion it was time to sell and contacted us. When we first saw the car, it did not run because the fuel was stale and the brake pedal was low and the paint looked tired, but it was all there and we knew that with a little time, effort and money she could be brought back to the life she rightly deserves!!  We immediately struck a deal and bought the car!! CHECK IT OUT!!

The body is very nice, very straight and extremely clean. It appears to be all original including the undercarriage and birdcage. Once cleaned the paint was actually pretty nice however it did have a few flaws that needed attention so instead of just repairing the paint we decided to do things right and give this beautiful car the love it deserves. We treated her to a fresh coat of "Riverside Red" paint in "PPG" base/clear. Then we wet sanded and buffed it to a show car shine that is super slick and smooth. We also ceramic coated it to preserve and protect the shine for years to come. It is absolutely beautiful! The black "Convertible Top" and the original removable "Hard-Top" (also repainted) are both in beautiful condition as well as all the chrome-trim and weather-stripping and glass too.

The "Black Leather" interior is also in beautiful condition including the seats, carpets, door panels and dash pad. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!

Powered by what we believe is the original 327c.i.-300 h.p. V-8 engine however the engine must have been rebuilt at some point because the block was decked so the engine pad is impossible to read. It does have the correct "3782870" block casting number and the correct build dates. It also has a correct "Winters Foundry" 4 bbl. aluminum intake with a correct 600 cfm Holley carburetor. It runs smooth and strong and sounds awesome! It is backed up by a smooth shifting 4-speed transmission with original shifter and posi-traction rear. We just fully service the car including drain and cleaned the gas tank and flushed the entire fuel system, a full tune up, flush and filled the radiator, changed the oil and filter and pulled all wheels and repaired the brakes. We inspected everything in between and detailed the engine compartment too. She is ready to go!

Other features include Power Brakes, Original and real "Knock-Off Wheels" with brand new white wall radial Tires, Dual Exhaust. AM-FM Radio as well as a the original "Hard-Top" with storage rack and cover. 

This was an easy restoration because the car was in really good condition to start with as this beautiful Corvette was very well kept and maintained over the years and now with new paint it looks absolutely amazing as well as she runs, rides and drives incredibly well too.  NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!
