1965 ELCAMINO SS "RESTMOD"
We sold this beautiful "ELKY RESTO-MOD" last year (March 2025) to a life-long car guy who told us that his wife wanted her very own Hot-Rod to drive to the car shows and cruise-ins. She always loved the look of the second generation El Camino and decided that’s the one she wanted problem was finding one that checked all the boxes. It had to be solid and clean (check) with a beautiful body-paint-chrome-trim & interior (check-check-check & check) but most of all they wanted a "Turn-Key" dependable cruiser! (CHECK) Well....They found it right here with this car! She had some fun with it but unfortunately, life took a nasty turn as it does and priorities changed so the as much as they hated the thought of selling, they decided to let it go. They gave us a call, and we immediately struck a deal and bought her back. Their loss could be your gain so CHECK IT OUT!!
The body is super solid and super clean including the floors, bed and frame and the "Cortez Silver" base/clear paint is absolutely gorgeous with a deep luster and show-car shine! It also has "like-new" chrome-trim and weather stripping and a "like-new" and correct black vinyl top that in our opinion ties it all together!
The black bucket seat interior is in show room new condition and boosts 67 Camaro deluxe bucket seats, new carpet and door panels and headliner too. It also has a rally gauge cluster that includes an original tach and gauges. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!
Powered by what we were told is a 355c.i. smallblock that runs super strong and sounds awesome! It has a healthy sounding cam, roller rockers, aluminum intake and is topped off with a Holley Sniper Fuel Injection system. It easily fires right up and has super quick throttle response. It is backed up by a smooth shifting McLeod 5-Speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter and a 10 bolt posi rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features include power steering with tilt wheels, 4 wheel "CPP" power disc brakes with crossed drilled and vented rotors, "CPP" tubular upper and lower control arms, Viking" double adjustable coil-over shocks at all 4-corners, "CPP" front and rear sway bars with rear track control bars, custom "FlowMaster" dual exhaust. 18" American Racing "Draft" wheels with low profile-high performance tires, blue-tooth stereo, new tonneau cover and so much more!!
This 1965 El Camino looks, runs, rides and drives incredibly well. It is a proven dependable driver and multiple show winner and will not disappoint!! DON’T MISS IT!!
