Just in is this 1967 Chevelle (136 V.I.N.) that we purchased from a local guy who told us that that life kept getting in the way of him keeping his dream car so he figured it was better to see it go to someone who will love it as much as he did then to see it just sit. Hate to admit it but... I get it!! His loss could be your gain!! CHECK IT OUT!!
This car was restored some time ago but overall, she still looks really good. It does have a few imperfections here and there as you would expect from an older restored car that was driven. The body is solid and clean especially the floors, trunk and frame. It looks like it may have been "frame-off" restored and it appears to have had the left 1/4 panel replaced at some point, but it looks to have been professionally installed and done. The "Marina Blue" base/clear paint is slick and smooth with a deep luster and show car shine. We just compounded and polished it and added a 1-year ceramic coating to protect the shine. It has very nice chrome, trim, weather-stripping and glass too.
The black bench seat interior is also in very nice condition including the seats, carpets, door panels and headliner. It does have a Super Sport dash insert and added tach and gauges. It is not new but very nice, nonetheless.
Power comes from a 454 c.i. Big Block engine that we just had professionally rebuilt which includes cylinders honed, reconditioned the rods, turned the crank, installed new rings & all new bearings, new high volume oil pump, new high lift hydraulic cam & lifters, new timing chain and gears, reconditioned the heads (valve job) including pressure testing the springs. It also has an aluminum intake and Holley 4bbl carb. as well as an MSD ignition system, new big tube headers and new FlowMaster dual exhaust. It truly runs and sounds amazing! It is backed up by a M-22 "ROCKCRUSHER" 4 speed transmission with correct Hurst shifter and a brand-new clutch and freshly machine flywheel and a 12 bolt posi rear with street friendly gears.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes (front only) new RideTec tubular upper and lower control arms with adjustable coil-over shocks at all 4-corners, 15" Rally wheels with B.F.G tires and a whole lot more!
Yes it’s true, this beautiful Chevelle is only a "136" car but you sure as hell can’t tell it’s not a real "138" Super Sport car by just looking at it, not to mention... it has a thumping Big Block Engine with a 4-Speed Muncie Transmission and a 12 Bolt Posi Rear with P/S, P.D.B and a upgraded suspension that runs strong, sounds awesome and drives incredibly well but what it doesn’t have is a real "138" Super Sport price tag!! DON’T MISS IT!!
