1968 CHEVROLET MALIBU/CHEVELLE SS (TRIBUTE)

We recently purchased this car from the daughter of the owner/builder who had passed away a few years ago. They initially tried to keep up on it and did use it some but found themselves just storing it in their garage and decided it was time to let her go. They contacted us to see it we’d be interested and of coarse we immediately went to see the car and struck a deal and bought it. We were told that her Dad restored the car many years ago and cloned it out to a Super Sport but since the car has its original engine, transmission and rear differential and that it ran so good that he couldn’t bring himself to swap it out to big block. I get it !! CHECK THIS ONE OUT !!

The body is very straight, solid and clean including the floors trunk and frame and the "BUTTERNUT YELLOW" base/clear paint is slick and smooth. We just compounded and polished it to a deep luster and show car shine. It also has a new and correct black vinyl top that we just installed and all the chrome, trim, weatherstripping and glass are all in like new condition as well.

The factory black bucket seat interior is still in like new condition including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner and dash pad. It also has an original factory center console and staple shifter too. It is all VERY-VERY NICE!!

Power comes from the original 327 c.i. small block engine that runs smooth and strong. It does have an upgraded aluminum intake manifold and 4-bbl. carburetor. It is backed up by a 2-speed power glide automatic transmission and 10 bolt open rear. We were told that everything was rebuilt when the car was restored and after a close-up and personal inspection it all appears to be true!

Other features include power steering, power brakes, cold factory air conditioning, tilt steering column, aftermarket tach and gauges, new FlowMaster dual exhaust,15" chrome rally wheels with Cooper Cobra radial raised white letter tires, factory AM radio and more!!

This is really a cool 68 Chevelle that has a great look that runs, rides and drives just as nice as it looks!! DON’T MISS IT!!
