Vehicle Description

1969 CAMARO SS "X-11"

We just got in this 1969 Camaro indirectly from a young military guy who was building this car for his mom. He told us that she had the exact car when she was in high school and wanted to give back to her. (Good Kid) Unfortunately she suddenly passed away before he completed it and it was killing him to walk past the car every day so he decided to sell it AS-IS! When we got it, we did make it more roadworthy and safer to drive but for now that is all the time i can put into it since we are too busy in our restoration shop. It is in need of cosmetic repairs and finishing work but is all there! CHECK IT OUT!!

The body is solid and clean including the floors, trunk and frame with no rust anywhere, but it was amateurly done with bad gaps from the doors forward. The door back fits pretty well. The Burgundy paint was also amateurly done and is need of minimally, wet sanding or if we keep it, repainting. I guess you could say it is driver-quality or a 10-footer at best! It does have new or like new chrome, trim weather-stripping and some glass too.

The interior is pretty nice! The front bucket seats were redone new, and the back seat looks original but in nice condition. It does have a new dash pad and headliner, and the door panels are in good condition as well as the carpets too. It does have a center console with factory gauge package that is partially functional. All in all, the interior is pretty nice but also needs some TLC to make it perfect.

The engine is a 454 c.i. Big Block that runs strong and sounds good. We were told that it was rebuilt by the guy the previous owner bought it from but there are no receipts to back it up. We did pull a valve cover to inspect, and it is clean inside there so ??????  maybe/could be!! Like i said it does run and sound good!!
It is backed up by a TH-350 automatic trans and a 10 bolt posi-traction rear with street friendly gears.

Other features include Vintage air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes (front only) tubular upper and lower control arms with adjustable shocks front and rear, headers with FlowMaster dual exhaust, HEI ignition, new fuel tank and lines, 15" rally wheels with new BFG tires and lots more!

This 1969 Camaro has a whole lot going for it and will make a really nice car if you spend some more time and money on it. The guy we got it from had good intentions and spent some big money on it to get it this point however it needs more TLC to put it over the top! It is a good running and driving car. Our shop is just too busy right now so unfortunately it would sit until next year before we can get to it so our loss could be your gain!!
