Vehicle Description

1972 DODGE CHALLENGER

We just got in another project car that we plan on restoring and probably build into a "high-end" Resto-Mod however our shop is so busy we probably won’t get around to it until sometime next year, so instead of just sitting we decided to offer it up "FOR SALE"  The price is "NON-NEGOTIABLE" and "WE WILL NOT REPAIR ANYTHING"!!  You are buying it 100% "AS-IS"!!

We were told by the previous owner that this car was his daily driver up to about 2 years ago. It does run and drive, stop and steer pretty well but cosmetically she needs some help! The body is pretty solid especially and surprisingly the floors, trunk and frame. It does have the 340 bulged hood and a R/T rear spoiler too.
It does have and is in need of some rust repairs especially under the vinyl top and both 1/4"s. Nothing too bad but is in need just the same. Obviously, the paint is shot as well as the black vinyl top, but the chrome, trim and glass are all in good condition and can be saved if so desired. Honestly, this should be a pretty easy restoration.

The interior is also in need of restoring but it is all there. It has factory original bucket seats with an original console and shifter and original door panels that are actually in pretty good condition too. It does have a standard dash cluster, but everything seems to work as it should that include the lights, signals, wipers and heater.

Powered by its original 318c.i. engine that runs pretty strong and sounds pretty good! It has a 4 bbl carb and headers too. It is backed up by a 904 automatic transmission and 8-3/4 rear. Other features include power steering and dual exhaust with original split tips that run out the rear valance.  (Pretty Cool)

This car may look rough but actually is not too bad! It does need body, paint and interior work but is a solid start that does run and drive, stop and steer pretty damn well and is a solid, good car to restore! She’s no gem but we’ve seen and restored a lot worse! It should be a pretty easy and quick restoration! DON’T MISS IT!!
