2013 YAMAHA 242 LIMITED S "JET BOAT"

This is my personal boat that i purchased in 2023 from the original owners who lift kept it during the season and garage kept it in the off-season. It was serviced yearly at a local Genuine Yamaha dealer and professionally detailed every spring. When i was searching for this kind of boat, this was the cleanest and nicest i found! This boat at the time was Yamahas top of the line in Jet Boat performance and luxury. It has a ton of amenities and features not found in other boats of its year and class. CHECK IT OUT!!

The hull is virtually spotless and never bottom painted. It was just waxed and detailed and is ready to splash! Topsides are just as nice with little to no signs of usage. It was also just detailed, and it looks and shines as new!

The interior is also "AS NEW" with no signs of wear and no discoloration. All the cushions are soft and the vinyl is supple. There is a ton of storage under each seat too. It also has multiple seating configurations including a full sun pad in the bow. It also has a under helm enclosed head that was only used for storing cushions and life jackets etc... The 242 Limited S comes standard with a radar arch that has lights and speakers already built in as well as a tow/ski pole. The gauge cluster is clear and fully functional and it also has a Garmin GPS - Chart Plotter. The original Clarion Stereo sounds awesome and i installed last year 6 new marine grade 200 watt speakers. The system also has a remote control mounted in the rear transom of the boat so you can turn the volume up or down an change stations while sitting on the rear swim platform. It also has its original table that you can mount in the boat or on the swim platform. Very cool!

Power comes from the original twin High Output "MR1 Yamaha engines that produce 180 h.p. each with just over 400 pampered hours.(avg.30 hrs per year) They run smooth and strong and have just been completely serviced including new oil and filter as well as new NGK spark plugs.They are fuel injected which makes for easy start-ups and extremely impressive throttle response.  I also recently replaced both batteries with new marine deep cell and kept them in my home during the winter months. The jet pumps seem to work as the should and i just replaced both steering cables over the winter and added Cobra Jet Steering for better and much improved low speed and reverse maneuvering. I also added a 2-degree pitch wedge in each drive pump which raise the bow up just enough to make the ride much better over the tight chop of the Chesapeake Bay. The clean out plugs were just serviced and I installed safety pins to protect from blow-out.

Other features include the original bimini top that is in very good but original condition and a brand new 09/2025 original Genuine Yamaha mooring cover ($900.00) as well as dock lines and fenders, 2 anchors, a fire extinguisher and flares. There is a fresh water wash down on the transom too. It also comes with a galvanized Load Rite drive-on bunk trailer with a swing away tongue and spare tire. All in excellent condition.

This has got to be one of the cleanest and nicest Yamaha 242 Limited S models on the market today! It runs, rides and looks like NEW and is ready for summer fun!!  ABSOLUTELY NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!! NOTES** WILL TRADE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE PONTOON or TRI-TOON BOATS OR 60’s-70’s MUSCLE CARS!!
